Take This Job and Shove It

I feel pretty good tonight. I think it may be because I've decided to leave my job the first week of December. I'll give my two week notice sometime around Thanksgiving then I am gone. The things that go on there... the abuse, the lying, the cheating, the belittling... It's all too much. Everyone else is about to leave, too. In the 6+ months I have been there, I have seen so many people come and go I can't remember them (in fact, I tried to make a list, but I got to 16 people and then couldn't remember names. So many people came and quit in the same day). The only people that are still there from the time I was hired in March is the manager and a woman who has worked there for nearly twenty years. Very few people last more than two months. Somehow I have made it this far, but I'm done. I'll be leaving in December and I'll start school (with serious intent on doing it) in January. Hmm... Now that I have a plan, the trick is to follow through. Oh, yeah... and not to doubt myself.

Im sure when you do resign, they'll see what they are missing out on.... Leave them be.... One day when bankruptcy hits, they'll notice what they have don, the chick that has been working there for 20 years is probably shaggin' the boss.... It was like that by my old job! Follow through hun!
