A Dreamer's Eulogy

And the dreamer has gone to sleep
Drifting off to dreams
Of times long ago when all was what it seemed
Times that made the light seems neverending
And there was no darkness to be found

But the dreamer will never awaken
The times and sorrow are ever on his mind
Days when everything brought a smile
When innocence was the rave
And there was no such thing as down

And the dreamer's eulogy reads like list
Of all the things that could have been
But blew off with the fickle wind
And only pity we can feel for the death of the dreamer
Dying of broken dreams and not making a sound
