What Kind of Day Was That?

I took another load of items over to my apartment this morning and just as I left the little light came on saying: "Service Engine Soon." Wonderful. Just what I need. I'm going to put it off since I really need a car right now and don't actually have the time to take it in.

I realized I wouldn't be able to make my therapy appointment today due to a conflicting schedule with my personal finance class. So, hopefully my doctor won't charge me for the missed appointment. I let him know as soon as I realized what had happened, but it may still be too late.

I also got a shock. While in my apartment, I turned on the fluorescent lights over the mirror in the bathroom and saw myself. Yes, I saw myself and it wasn't pretty. All the blemishes and, worse, the bluish area under my eyes. Ugh. It was not a pretty sight. I'm also gaining weight at an excessive rate, so I really need to do something about this before it gets out of hand. It's about time for a change.

I changed the design of the blog in an attempt to lighten it up. It was so dark and gloomy with the black I figured I'd start September out with a brighter, happier looking blog.
