A Very Short Fuse

Well, today has been one of those days. I'm so irritable and I really don't know why. It has taken the littlest things to completely piss me off today. I decided not to try and fight it; instead, I embraced my short fuse and kept myself at a distance from people today. I caught up on my laundry and some cleaning.

I watched the DVDs of The Shining (1997 version) and Storm of the Century again, but this time with the commentary so I could listen to Stephen King talk about them... I like listening to him talk. He's a "tell it like it is, I don't give a shit" kind of guy. Anyway, I also just started reading his new book The Colorado Kid, which is a book in the Hard Case Files series (which is a throwback to the old crime novels that came out only in paperback decades ago). It's a different genre than he's used to writing, so I'm looking forward to continuing it.

Well, I have to say I'm glad this day is almost over. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better (but I'm not placing any bets).
