Okay, so my damned computer crashes Friday evening, thoroughly pissing me off. I hate being without a computer. Well, to be exact, I hate being without the Internet. I feel like a part of me is cut off completely. I can't figure out what to do with myself. Luckily I had another (older) computer at a relative's house and that's what I am using right now. It's from around 1996 and has been updated over the years. It's bogged down with spyware and is still on Windows 98 and a very old version of Internet Explorer. It works, so who cares? I decided to use this as an excuse to buy a new computer. I went to Dell.com and bought a notebook computer for $1600 or so. I'm going to make it my main computer and keep this as backup in case of any emergencies. Damn technology! Aside from this bit of news, all is well.
Here's a picture. At one point today, I had a Ziploc bag of frozen bones in one pocket of my coat, a potato in another, and a turnip in the last pocket; I was also carrying my computer. It was a very unique feeling, I have to say.
