Good Things

Well, I'm going to adopt another animal, but I'm going back and forth on deciding whether it should be a cat or another dog. I have good pro and con arguments for both, but I just can't make up my mind. I guess, in the end, it'll be whatever adopts me.

A giant thank you to the online zine The-Vu for including my writing ("Belief") on their page. I am really impressed by the site and am proud that my words were added to it.

Hopefully, Hurricane Rita will be the last to strike the coast for a while. Luckily, my 8 family members down in Texas live in San Antonio and pretty much avoided the hoopla.

I really have nothing "deep" to say today, but I will say life is better now than it has been my entire life. I couldn't ask for anything more, and I've been through everything less, so here I am. As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing."
