The Forgotten

I just finished watching The Forgotten and I actually liked it. It wasn't one of my favorite movies, but I give it credit for being at least interesting. I only had one problem with it and that was the fact they added a romance factor into it, which I didn't feel went with the storyline. Sure, it wasn't the greatest movie, but I give Julianne Moore a lot of credit for holding most of the film together. Also, Alfre Woodard has some great lines in this film. A decent film, a lot better than most reviews give it credit for.

I went to the all night grocery store almost an hour ago (had a sweet tooth attack) and ran into a strange cashier. He seemed a bit dazed and then mentioned some things in a kind of mumbled voice (to which I just smiled and nodded). I think he was telling me he didn't want to cheat me on money, and went on to tell me he has a 3-year-old daughter he takes care of alone and only sleeps 3 hours a day... and so on. He did seem like a lot of sleep would do him good. He asked me twice for my discount card... after I had already given it to him. I just smiled and said, "Good luck." I came home to my apartment and my dog and ate my raspberry sorbet.
