After the Show

We had an audience of 54 or so, which is not as bad as it sounds. In actuality, it's really good considering the publicity we had. Hopefully there will be some more people tonight. The extra incentive here (since normally I wouldn't care how many people come) is the cast is going to split the money we make. I'd like to walk away with at least some money! The show went well, but it did have a few hang ups. Nothing is ever perfect in live theater.

I finished reading Crichton's The Terminal Man a few days ago and am now half way through Michael Connelly's The Poet, which is very interesting. I'm highly enjoying it.

It's late... or early, depending on how you look at it, so I'm just going to leave it at this for now. I'll end with another Mary Chapin Carpenter lyric I believe sums up life: "In spite of all of your plans, it's always been out of your hands."
